RUSH COUNTY – One person was injured in an accident just after 3p.m. Sunday in Rush County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Ford passenger vehicle driven by Jose Raul Pacheco, 44, Las Vegas, NV, was northbound on County Road 370 five miles east of Timken.

The vehicle left the roadway to the right, struck a utility pole and fence.

Pacheco was transported to the Great Bend Regional Medical Center. KHP did not have information on the driver’s seat belt usage.
