2017 Wild West Festival preview: Red Line Velocity

Brought to you by the UPS Store at Tebow Village in Hays, United Way of Ellis County, Baconrind Appraising Services, Paul’s Lawn & Tree Service, Pheasant Run and Coldwell Banker Executive Realty.

Derived from the blue-collar existence of North Central Kansas emerges the power rock trio, Red Line Velocity.

Hailing from the community of Smith Center, the band was formed in the spring of 2015 by fellow rockers Grant Lambert and Tommy Watt.

Influenced heavily by classic and modem rock, Red Line Velocity harkens back to the days of exciting, fun, live music! If one would ask the members of the band what type of music it is they play, they would simply answer, “Music we truly love.”

Garnering more and more popularity with every show they do, their intense passion for music and electrifying stage presence has captivated many new fans. The collaboration of Grant Lambert lead guitar/vocals and Tommy Watt bass/vocals, has not only created a great rock cover act, but has also evolved into an original songwriting team.

Rounding out the trio is good friend and experienced drummer, Gary Labarge originally from Concordia, Kansas. Red Line Velocity’s mission is to quench your live music thirst!

Red Line Velocity takes the Wild West Festival stage at 8 p.m. Saturday.
