instructor of leadership studies in Fort Hays State University’s Virtual College International, was recognized for faculty excellence with a Lifetime Achievement award for his work at Sias University, Xinzheng, China.

Nielsen began teaching with FHSU as a Sias cooperating teacher in August 2013 and became a full-time faculty member in the Department of Leadership Studies this past year.

He has represented FHSU at multiple Sias University activities, served on various Sias and FHSU committees and spent countless hours working with and helping students develop their knowledge, skills and abilities.
