Two overnight thunderstorms brought a little more rain to Hays.

The official amount received as recorded at the K-State Agricultural Research Center south of town was 0.28 inches. The Eagle Media Center, 2300 Hall, received 0.13 inches of rain.

According to official weather observer Joe Becker, rain fell in Hays for six consecutive days, June 21-26, then took a day off, and returned June 28.

So far in June, 3.82 inches of rain have fallen in Hays. The year to date amount is 19.08 inches.

The weather forecast calls for rain again tonight and Thursday.
