Lance and Mary Pat Waymaster of Russell announce the engagement of their son, Troy Waymaster, to Crystal Whitney, the daughter of Evan and Barb Whitney, Norton, and Tim and Janet Bennett, Olathe.

Troy graduated from Russell High School in 1996 and the University of Kansas in 2000 with a bachelors degree in Political Science. He has also pursued a Masters of Business Administration at Fort Hays State University.

He currently works for Waymaster Farms, Inc. and serves as the state representative for the 109th Kansas House District in the Kansas House of Representatives which includes the entire counties of Osborne, Russell, Smith, and portions of Jewell, Lincoln, Barton, and Rush counties.

A 1998 graduate of Russell High School, Crystal currently owns and operates her own business in Wichita, Beautiful Images Salon and Spa, LLC. She graduated from Wichita State University in 2007 with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, with minors in Accounting and Management.

The couple has announced the date of the wedding for August 12, 2017 at the Basilica of St. Fidelis in Victoria. The couple plan on making their home in Bunker Hill, Kansas.
