Clayton looking to lock down starting cornerback position

With the start of the season a little over a week away, the Fort Hays State coaching staff continues to finalize starting and backup positions for the Tigers season opener at Missouri Southern State August 31st. Regardless of who the starters are, FHSU will have two new faces at cornerback.

Senior Kamon Clayton is among several players battling for one of two starting cornerback positions left vacant by the graduation of Raheeme Dumas and Rashad Dunnigan. Clayton, who spent time at the bandit position a year ago, is trying to win the starting job along with fourth-year junior Aquil Knowles and senior Trae Regier as well as several other redshirt freshman.
