The Hays High tennis team earned a first place finish at their invitational Thursday at Hays High.

Victoria’s Hannah Radke took home the No. 1 singles title defeating Hays High’s Sarah Wyse 8-3.

The Hays High No. 1 doubles team of Gabby Taliaferro and Macey Steckel beat Victoria’s Morgan Leiker and Megan Karst to earn first place.

Kaleigh Asbaugh placed first for the Indians at No. 2 singles and the No. 2 doubles team of Brianna Forinash and Lynsie Hansen also finished first.

Victoria finished second as a team, placing second in the No. 2 singles and doubles and the No. 2 singles.

Hays High tennis takes on Great Bend on Tuesday.
