The Hays High girls cross country finished third and the boys fifth at Great Bend Thursday.

Yesenia Maldonado was the top finisher for the Lady Indians finishing 9th win a time of 22:46. Tana Herreman was 17th and Madison Schmidt 21st.

Dawon VonFeldt was the loan medalist for the Indians finishing 14th win a time of 18:22. Johnny Fuller was 22nd.

The Indians cross country teams will travel to Hesston on Thursday.
