Pratt, Kansas – Cecilia Agnes (Sack) Hart, 101, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017 in Wichita. She was born July 10, 1916 in Hays to Stephen Edward and Barbara (Unrein) Sack. On July 30, 1940, she married James M. Hart Sr. in Hays. He preceded her in death on December 1, 2001.

Cecilia grew up in Hays. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella and Eagles Lodge all in Hays. She moved to Pratt 49 years ago and was a Member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Altar Society in Pratt. She was a very hard worker and in 1999 she went to Washington DC where she received the Outstanding Oldest Worker award. She is survived by two sons, Stephen (Mary) Hart of Russell and Joe (Kathy) Hart of Amarillo, Texas; daughter, Barbara Janzing of Wichita; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and daughter in-law, Delia Hart of Oak Harbor, Washington.

Cecilia is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James, Sr.; son, James Jr. Hart; daughter, Mary Ann Huslig; son in-laws, Bernard Janzing and Ervin Huslig; and siblings, Leo Sack, Lawrence Sack, Alice Schenk, Casper Sack, Jacob Sack, Peter Sack, Edward Sack, Elizabeth Kuhlman and Ann Catherine Byers.

Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. with family receiving friends from 1-3 p.m. at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m., Monday, November 6, 2017 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hays. Rosary will follow at 9:30 a.m. and Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Father Fred Gatschet presiding. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Hays.
