Tiger men’s soccer earns No. 2 Seed in Central Region

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Fort Hays State men’s soccer team has earned the No. 2 seed in the Central Region on Monday (Nov. 6). The Tigers enter the central region tournament with an 11-5-2 overall record.

Fort Hays State will play Northeastern State in the Central Regional Final at a site to be determined on either Nov. 16 or 17 in the NCAA Super Region 3 Championship. The Midwest Regional Final will also take place those same days. The winners of each match will meet in the Super Regional Final for the right to move on to the NCAA Championship site as one of the final four teams.

Fort Hays State has won the Central Regional Final three years in a row to get to the national quarterfinals. The Tigers closed this season with an 11-1 mark over their last 12 matches after an 0-4-2 start.

More details on the NCAA Super Regional will become available as soon as game times are set and the teams representing the Midwest Region are determined this weekend.
