HUTCHINSON – First Wealth Management recently opened a Hays satellite office located at 107 W. 10th. First Wealth Management is a division of First National Bank of Hutchinson. The Hays location offers Estate Planning, Trust Services and Investment advice. First Wealth Management is the umbrella name for a family of financial services, including Personal Trusts, Retirement Plans, Investments and Farm Management. A full service brokerage is also available for transaction-based services. The First has been helping families and individuals shape their futures since 1876. Trust Powers were granted to The First in 1913. Today, First Wealth Management manages more than $1 billion in assets and over 250,000 acres.

Shane joined First Wealth Management in 2015 as Vice President and Trust Counsel. Prior to joining The First, he served as General Counsel and Trust Counsel for other financial institutions in Smith Center and was a sole practitioner engaged in the private practice of law in Pratt and Smith Center. Shane earned a Bachelor of Science from Washburn University and a Juris Doctor from Washburn University School of Law.
He graduated from the American Bankers Association National Trust School at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. Shane is Past President of the Kansas Bankers Association Trust Division and a former member of the Board of Directors of the Kansas Bankers Association. He is a faculty member of and former Committee Chairman of the Kansas and Nebraska Schools of Banking Trust School. Shane currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Smith Center, Inc., a non-profit economic development corporation, and is a member of the Board of Trustees for Srader Foundation located in Smith Center. He was elected to and served as a member of Unified School District 237 – Smith Center Board of Education. Shane is a member of the Smith County, Kansas, and American Bar Associations.
Dustin Stull joined First Wealth Management in 2013 and is responsible for business development and serves as an account administrator. He earned a B.B.A. in Finance with a Minor in Agriculture from Fort Hays State University and an M.B.A. from Baker University. Dustin attended the Cannon Financial Trust School and earned his CTFA (Certified Trust and Financial Advisor). Prior to joining The First, Stull was a Business Development Manager and Trust Officer in Concordia, KS. He also has several additional years’ experience of Asset Management, Investment Management and Estate Planning.
