Monday was a warm day in Hays with a new record set for Nov. 27.
According to official statistics from the Kansas State University Agricultural Research Center, the temperature reached 77 degrees, breaking the old record high of 75 degrees in 1933.
Today’s high was quite cooler at just 56 degrees and fair and breezy wind coming out of the north at 25 mph, as recorded on the National Weather Service.
Wednesday is set to be 55 degrees and sunny.
