SEDGWICK COUNTY — Law enforcement authorities are investigating another shooting.
Just after 2a.m. Tuesday, police responded to report of a shooting at a residence in the 2600 Block of South Jewett, according to officer Charley Davidson. At the scene officers found a 27-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his shoulder.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Investigators determined the victim and a 30-year-old male suspect had an argument. The suspect shot the victim and left the scene in a 2002 Cadillac Escalade that belonged to a 32-year-old woman.
A 30-year-old woman and three children were also at the residence at the time of the shooting but not injured, according to Davidson.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact Wichita Police.
