2018 budget work begins for city of Ellis

ELLIS – The city of Ellis is working on its 2018 budget.

During tonight’s council meeting, they’ll hear funding requests for next year from the library, Ellis Alliance, Ellis Community Foundation and the recreation commission.

In other business, a vote is scheduled for the approval of employee insurance policies, and the council will consider approving the Planning Commission’s Comprehensive Plan 2018.
