Police: Busy night for two Kansas robbery suspects

SHAWNEE COUNTY — Law enforcement authorities are investigating a pair of robberies. Just after 10p.m. two suspects wearing bandanas walked into a business in the 3300 Block of SW Gage in Topeka, according to Lt. Manuel Munoz.

One of the suspects struck an employee with a firearm, pushed him to the ground and left with the bottom drawer of the cash register, according to police spokesperson Gretchen Koenen

A couple of hours later, just before 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, two suspects with a similar description wearing bandanas walked into a business in the 700 Block of NE Wabash in Topeka. One suspect brandished a firearm and they left in a maroon vehicle with the bottom drawer of the cash register.

Police ask that anyone with information on these robberies is asked to contact Topeka Police.
