SHAWNEE COUNTY —The Topeka Zoo is welcoming a newborn giraffe.

Hope, who was born at the zoo in 2010 gave birth overnight. Watch the new baby on the zoo’s web camera.

In July the zoo’s 7-year-old giraffe gave birth to a  baby named Konza.

Zoo officials have not reported the new baby’s name or gender.
