Porcupine safely removed from NW Kansas community

DECATUR COUNTY — Residents in Oberlin called a Kansas game warden after finding a porcupine walking up and down Main Street early Tuesday.

According to a social media report, the game warden was able to herd the porcupine to the edge of town and capture it in a barrel.

The porcupine was safely released away from town.
