COLBY, Kan. – The TMP-Marian Lady Monarchs golf team finished in third place at the Par 76 Lake Meadows Golf Course in Colby Monday with a team score of 400. The Monarchs were four shots behind second place Goodland who shot a 396. Syracuse won the team title with a 368.

Individually, Shannen Chin took third with a 5-over par 81, losing a scorecard playoff to Paige Barnes of Syracuse who was second.

Rylee Cook of Stanton County was top medalist with 79. Other TMP scores were Haleigh Spray 103, Abby Heimerman 106, Avin Inlow 110 and Anniw Wasinger 120.

Next tourney for the Lady Monarchs is Thursday’s Holcomb Invitational played at Buffalo Dunes in Garden City.
