Reata Pinkerton Ward, a young bright beacon of light, passed on September 17, 2018. She was 17.

Loved and inspired by all, she came in to her own at an early age. She helped raise the highest grossing bull within the Bull Riding Category at the National Finals Rodeo in 2010. Throughout her life she continued to love animals. May her free spirit, hard work and tenacity be an inspiration to us all. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.

Reata was preceded in death by her grandfather, Bud Ward and Cousin Laramie Farris

She is survived by her parents: Jaylene Pinkerton and Charles Nolind Ward; siblings, Charles Ward, Lacey Ward, Sage Tremblay and Zane Ward; her beloved dog, Daisy and grandparents, John and Susie Pinkerton and Naomi Ward.
