McPHERSON, Kan. – The Hays High girls cross country team placed five runners in the top-20 and won the McPherson Invitational on a warm and windy day Thursday. The Indians finished with 32 points, 13 less than Salina Central.
Landri Dotts led the way with a third place finish, followed by Yesenia Maldonado in sixth, Allison Shubert came in ninth, Lainey Hardman 10th and Cristina Leos 12th.
The Indian boys had two medalists and finished third. Johnny Fuller was 10th and Brayden Hines 13th.
