A short agenda for Hays city commissioners Thursday night includes the August 2018 financial report and three consent items:
- Release of Land Use Restriction Agreement for CedarView Assisted Living, 2929 Sternberg Drive, which is being sold
- Proposed appointment of Shelley Bryant to the Hays Public Library Board
- Approval of Cereal Malt Beverage License for Oct. 21 by St. Catherine Catholic Church during Essenfest in the former Kennedy Middle School
A progress report of recent activities in city departments will also be presented.

The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. in Hays City Hall, 1507 Main.
Prior to the meeting, Mayor James Meier will sign proclamations for Domestic Violence Awareness Month (Oct.) at 6 p.m., Helping People with Intellectual Disabilities Days at 6: 15 p.m. He will also sign a proclamation for Small Business Saturday.
