Phillipsburg resident, Robert “Bob” Moffatt, passed away October 6, 2018 at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS at the age of 71. He was born Feb. 27, 1947 in Amarillo, TX, the son of Robert Carl and Inez Boque (Oglesby) Moffatt. He was the former owner and operator of Miles Furniture.

Survivors include his wife Penny of the home; his son Ryan of Phillipsburg; his daughter, Stacy Slechta of Newton; his sister, Marilyn Kuller of Arrowhead, OK and 4 grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen. A Memorial service will be held Friday, Oct. 12 at 2:00 p.m. in the First Christian Church, Phillipsburg, with Dick Higgins and Pastor LeRoy Herder officiating. A private family inurnment will be held in the Fairview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9:00 to 9:00 Thursday at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Phillipsburg Youth Baseball Program.
