Fire crews battled a grass fire northeast of Walmart on Tuesday evening.

The fire is on the east side of U.S. 183 and appeared to be only about 2 acres. Crews quickly contained the fire, according to reports from the scene.

By 6:45 p.m., the fire appeared to have been extinguished.
