EMPORIA, Kan. – TMP-Marian’s Cameron Rozean shot a 9-over-par 80 and finished in 12th place at the 3A State Golf Tournament Wednesday at the Emporia Golf Course. The senior recorded four bogeys on the front nine and five on the back and was part of a five-way tie for 10th but finished third in the playoff.

Phillipsburg’s Ty Sides also shot an 80 and finished fourth in the playoff.

The Monarchs shot 349 as a team and finished in seventh place. Sabetha won the team title with a 327, nine shots better than Caney Valley. Sabetha and Phillipsburg both shot 339 with Sabetha claiming third place.
