ABILENE – The TMP-Marian volleyball team improved to 6-4 on the season with a pair of wins in Abilene on Thursday.

The Monarchs defeated the host Cowgirls in three sets, (27-25, 18-25 and 25-23) and Smokey Valley (25-20 and 25-18). Abiline was ranked 9th in 4A.

TMP’s only loss came to Concordia in thee sets (20-25, 25-17, 17-25). The Panthers are ranked 9th in class 3A.

The Monarchs travel to Plainville on Tuesday.
