HHS volleyball goes 2-2 in Wamego

WAMEGO, Kan. – The Hays High volleyball team went 2-2 Saturday at the Wamego Invitational. The Indians won the first match against Rock Creek in two sets (25-22, 25-22). Tasiah Nunnery recorded 10 kills and 11 assists. Macee Altman added nine kills and Brooklyn Schaffer had 17 digs.

HHS was then swept by Nemaha Central (18-25, 17-25). Tasiah Nunnery had nine kills and Brooklyn Schaffer nine digs.

The Indians lost to the host school 28-30, 24-26. Tasiah Nunnery had 15 kills and 8 assists, Kaitlin Suppes recorded 16 assists and Brooklyn Schaffer 13 digs.

In Hays’s final match of the day they beat Riley County in three sets (24-26, 25-17, 25-23). Tasiah Nunnery had 13 kills and Brooklyn Schaffer 21 digs.

The Indians are 10-5 on the season. They are back at home Tuesday to host their own quadrangular.
