Lifelong Phillipsburg resident, Pauline E. Mankin, passed away Sun., July 21, 2013 at the Salina Presbyterian Manor in Salina, KS at the age of 94. She was born Nov. 3, 1918 in Phillips County to Charles & Esther (Clonch) Shoemaker. She worked for K-N Energy in Phillipsburg for many years. Her husband, William E., preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son, William E. Mankin, Jr. of Overland Park, KS; her daughter, Marilyn Parker, of Sylvan Grove, KS; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wed., July 24, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, with Rev. Harlan Nonhof officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg.
Visitation will be Mon. from 5 – 9 p.m. and Tues. from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
