O’Loughlin Elementary School preliminary concept for student pick up and drop off with the elimination of Victory Drive

Monday night’s USD 489 Special Board meeting was completed in 90 minutes including two executive sessions to discuss employer and employee negotiations.

The board approved the multi-peril insurance premium from Insurance Planning.

On the closing of Victory Drive for drop-off and pick-up of students at O’Loughlin Elementary School, the board approved plans to run an outlet road to 12th Street, exiting out to 13th street. The board will also discuss asking TMP-Marian for permission to use Victory Drive until the new road is in place. (see the concept drawing)

The board decided to secure a portable chiller for Roosevelt elementary school until a decision can be made to get the air conditioner compressor repaired or the district can get bids to have it replaced.

The board also approved the Financing Agreement with Astra Bank for No-Fund Warrants and 
Authorized BOE President to sign the agreement as approved by the Board on July 1, 2013.
