Two Injured in Tuesday afternoon crash UPDATE

Wednesday   According to the Ellis County Sheriff’s Department Nineteen year old Cody Hoop of Russell was driving a Dodge truck East on Golf Course Road and Screen Shot 2013-08-07 at 9.19.23 AMSheriff Departmentfailed to stop at Walker Avenue.  Mark Dreiling, age 50 from Gorham, was traveling north on Walker Avenue. The trucks collided and wound up in an open lot northeast of the intersection.

Hoop was transported via Eagle Med to a hospital in Wichita. Dreiling was taken to Hays Medical Center. Hoop was not wearing a seat belt.

4:45 p.m. According to Ellis County Sheriff Ed Harbin, a northbound Dodge pickup hit an east bound pickup that had run a stop sign on Waker Avenue, south of I-70.

One driver was transported to Hays Medical Center. The other driver was sent on Eagle Med to a hospital in Wichita.  Stay tuned to Eagle Radio and Check Hays Post for more  information at it becomes available.

4 p.m. According to the Ellis County Sheriff’s office,  law enforcement and Ellis County Emergency Medical staff have worked a two vehicle accident South of I-70 and the Walker exit this afternoon.
