Last year, the Fort Hays State volleyball team finished above 500 for the first time since 2005 with a 23-14 record. It was the best season in coach Kurt Kohler’s four years in Hays and the most wins since 2004 which is the last time the Tigers made the NCAA II tournament.

Wednesday night the 2013 edition of the Tigers held their annual Black and Gold Scrimmage at Gross Coliseum. The Black team, which was evenly divided among the team for the first two sets and then was made up of just juniors and seniors for the final two sets, went 4-0.
