NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – Kimberly Perry says overseas fans of The Band Perry get the group’s music – but not her jokes. She thinks it’s because of “the language barrier” – but her band mates say her jokes are just no good. The group will get to try out their music – and jokes – on overseas audiences again. They are launching a world tour that starts in Europe. Neil Perry says he loves that audiences have learned the words to their songs – even though they don’t know English. Kimberly Perry says she’s excited that they will “go into some territories that don’t get touched by country music that often.” She says it’s a chance for the group to “get boots on the ground and plant he country flag.”
