7 a.m. Sunday.   Chad Alan Leichhardt is back in the Reno County detention center this morning.  He was captured in Perry Oklahoma on Saturday evening. He was located at his girlfriend’s home.

 

7 p.m. The search for the inmate who has not been seen since Friday afternoon continues.

Law enforcement authorities are searching for an escaped inmate. Chad Alan Leichhardt, an inmate at the Hutchinson Correctional facility, walked away from a work release in Newton on Friday.

Leichhardt age 40 is a white male, 5’10” tall, 174 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair. Over the last 7 years he has been convicted on various charges including DUI, drug possession, criminal threats, and aggravated burglary. If you see him, call police.
