The Fort Hays State Tigers raced out to a 24-0 halftime lead, then held on as Lindenwood rallied within a touchdown in the fourth quarter, defeating the Lions 31-17 in their first ever trip to Hunter Stadium in St. Charles, Mo. The Tigers have won two straight and improve to 2-4 overall and 1-4 in the MIAA. The Lions second straight loss drops them to 3-3 overall and 2-3 in the conference.

The Tigers finished with a season-best 490 yards of offense, 315 in the first half. Quarterback Treveon Albert led the offensive attack, completing 14 of 18 passes for 187 yards with three touchdowns and one interception. Andre Smith rushed for 138 yards and a touchdown. Keaton Callins had six receptions for 79 yards and one touchdown.
