Fort Hays State’s Ricardo Yeverino has been named the MIAA Men’s Soccer Athlete of the Week. Yeverino scored game-winners against Eastern New Mexico and Southwest Baptist in the last week, helping the team go 2-0. Yeverino led the team with three goals and two assists (eight points), and he has now scored in three straight games. The 5-7 senior forward is a native of Dodge City, Kan. and competed at Garden City High School prior to playing a Barton Community College.

Yeverino is the third Tiger to receive Player of the Week honors from the MIAA joining Jaccob Rangel on Oct. 1 and Diego Cabral on Sept. 24.
