Greg Schwartz, along with a KASB representative, will lead a Board discussion
b. Victory Road Update
Terry Ault will provide an update on the ongoing study and options for the use of Victory Road by USD 489.
c. Roosevelt Chiller
Terry Ault will provide an update on the options provided by the engineers that are available to repair/replace the chiller unit.
d. Fleet Replacement Plan
Russ Henningsen will share an updated replacement plan for fleet vehicles.

Dean Katt will share preliminary enrollment data with the Board
3. AGENDATOPICS:
a. Board Policy GACC – Recruitment and Hiring – 2nd Reading
The Administration recommends the Board approve the second reading of policy GACC – Recruitment and Hiring.
b. Board Policies – CE, DJEG, EG, EH, GAL, GALA
The Administration recommends that the Board remove all reference to ‘Deputy Superintendent’ and replace with ‘Superintendent’ or ‘Business Manager’ in these policies.
c. Board Policy H – Negotiations
The Administration recommends that the Board review and discuss policy ‘H’, specifically the language dealing with IBB, with the Board Attorney. Modifications will be brought back to the October 28th Board Meeting for first reading.
d. Board Policy CG – Administrative Personnel
The Administration recommends that the Board review and discuss policy ‘CG’, specifically the language dealing with ‘recruitment’, with the Board Attorney. Modifications will be brought back to the October 28th Board Meeting for first reading.
e. Modification of Committee Appointments by Board Members
The Board will discuss the removal of Board members appointed to district committees. This change will take place due to the adoption of the revised board policy BBC.
