A three vehicle accident in Western Kansas sent one person to the hospital Monday afternoon.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, at 1:35 pm two vehicles were stopped at a stop light heading eastbound on US 50 in Finney County: a 2004 Honda Pilot driven by 43 year old Kee Ha followed by a 2005 Ford F150 driven by 29 year old Maria L Montano, both of Garden City.  A semi truck driven by 60 year old Charles W Siebert, also of Garden City, rear ended the pickup, pushing it into the Honda.

Montano was taken to St. Catherine Hospital with injuries. The other drivers were not injured. All parties were wearing seat belts.
