Hays Police Officers made quick work in a recent case of criminal damage to property. v According to Lt. Brandon Wright, on Friday, November 1st at 1:59 AM officers were observing the crowd leaving the Wild Rose when they heard the sound of glass breaking.  Officers moved to investigate and found the cause of the sound; 21 year old Brian Smith.

Smith had broken the window out of the Slater’s Big Slice pizza trailer while it was parked near the Wild Rose, less than a block from where officers had been watching the crowd.  He was immediately arrested without incident.
