The Fort Hays State Lady Tigers rallied from seven down midway through the second half to defeat Northwest Missouri State 79-69 in two overtimes Saturday afternoon at Gross Coliseum. The Tigers, who shot just 37-percent from the floor in regulation, shoot 56-percent in the two overtime periods including 3-of-5 from three-point range.

Kate Edwards hit a driving layup late in regulation to tie the game at 57 and force overtime. Down one with 6.8 seconds to play in the first overtime, Beth Bohuslavsky hit a free throw to tie the game at 65 and force the second overtime.
Chelsea Mason led the Tigers in scoring with 23 points. Kate Lehman added 20 and pulled down a career-high 17 rebounds. Kate Edwards, who was shutout in the first half, finished with 10 points.
The Lady Tigers improve to 8-1 with the win and move to 2-1 in the MIAA. The Bearcats are now 3-7 overall and 0-3 in conference play.
