Cloudy, cold Thursday

Screen Shot 2014-01-09 at 5.10.09 AMIt will still be cool to cold today, with clouds and some patchy morning freezing fog possible. A warm front will punch northward on Friday and move north through western Kansas during the day. There is a slight chance for some light rain Friday, basically east of Highway 283. Friday will be breezy and a bit warmer, leading to a mild weekend with highs in the middle to upper 50s. Cold air will spill southward into western Kansas today behind a cold front pushing southward into Oklahoma early morning. Expect highs only up into the upper 20s across central Kansas to the 30s elsewhere. Look for lows down into the teens tonight.

Friday A slight chance of rain between 8am and 11am. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 43. Breezy, with a light and variable wind becoming north northwest 19 to 24 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Friday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 25. Northwest wind 7 to 17 mph.
Saturday Sunny, with a high near 50. West wind around 11 mph.
Saturday Night Mostly clear, with a low around 29.
Sunday Mostly sunny, with a high near 52.
