Cloudy, cold Thursday

Screen Shot 2014-01-23 at 5.11.01 AMA wind chill advisory is in effect for much of the region through 11 am. Wind chill values will bottom out in the -15F to -20F range early this morning. Frostbite to exposed skin can occur within 30 minutes at these values. Light snow will also be possible early today, mainly west of highway 83. These cold temperatures will be short however, temperatures on Friday are expected to warm back into the 50 to 55 degree range. Over the weekend period the afternoon highs will range from the mid 50s to around 60 degrees.
Today Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 21. Wind chill values as low as -19. North northeast wind 5 to 14 mph becoming west southwest in the afternoon.
Tonight Mostly clear, with a low around 10. Wind chill values as low as -7. Southwest wind 5 to 15 mph.
Friday Sunny, with a high near 56. Breezy, with a west northwest wind 14 to 24 mph.
Friday Night Partly cloudy, with a low around 30. West northwest wind 11 to 16 mph.
Saturday Sunny, with a high near 57. Northwest wind 7 to 15 mph.
