A wind chill advisory is in effect for much of the region through 11 am. Wind chill values will bottom out in the -15F to -20F range early this morning. Frostbite to exposed skin can occur within 30 minutes at these values. Light snow will also be possible early today, mainly west of highway 83. These cold temperatures will be short however, temperatures on Friday are expected to warm back into the 50 to 55 degree range. Over the weekend period the afternoon highs will range from the mid 50s to around 60 degrees.
