The city of Hays advised motorists this week that travel on 13th Street from Main to Milner will be disrupted slightly Wednesday morning.

Terracon will be taking soil samples on the stretch of 13th Street, which will involve boring 10 feet deep into the road subgrade. Work will be confined to the center turn lane area, so disruption to traffic will be minimal.

Work is scheduled to be completed by noon, and traffic control devices will be in place.
