Bill Overbey, Hays Medical Center’s chief financial officer and chief information officer, has resigned, the hospital said Tuesday.

“(Overbey) was definitely a key contributor in the financial successes here at HaysMed,” said Shae Veach, vice president of regional operations and marketing. “We wish him and his family the best.”
Andy Beck, HaysMed controller, has been named interim chief financial officer.
A search for a permanent replacement will be conducted, considering both internal and external applicants, Veach said.
“From a financial perspective, we are as strong financially as we’ve ever been,” he added.
Overbey had served as CFO since 2001, according to HaysMed’s website.
