Preliminary hearing set for former USD 208 school board president

WAKEENEY — The former Trego County USD 208 school board president facing drug charges will be in court next month for a preliminary hearing.

According to Clint Blaes, spokesman for the Kansas attorney general, John Reeder’s hearing has been scheduled for 11 a.m. Feb. 26 at the Trego County Courthouse.

Reeder was arrested Jan. 2 and immediately resigned his post as school board president. He is is currently free on a community corrections bond.
