Jetmore -Two people were hospitalized when their car rolled at 12:10 a.m. Monday in Hodgeman County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol Reported a 2002 Volkswagen Beetle driven by Alina Hernandez, 50, Dodge City, was south bound on U 283 seven miles north of Jetmore. The vehicle left the roadway onto the west shoulder, the driver over corrected sliding sideways across the highway into the east ditch, rolled 1 and ½ times, and came to rest on the driver’s side of the vehicle.

Hernandez was transported to the hospital in Jetmore. A passenger in the vehicle Alfonso Cardenas, 21, Freemont, Neb., was transported to the hospital in Jetmore and flown to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.

The KHP said they were not wearing seat belts.
