The Hays High boys and girls cross country team’s both finish fifth at the Western Athletic Conference meet Thursday in Dodge City.

Dallas Kaiser was the highest finisher for the Indian boys, coming in 15th (18:17).  Joshua Brungardt finished 18th (18:21), Derek Drees 21st (18:29), Landon Munsch 28th (18:59) and Blake Mathews 31st (19:07).

April Johnson led the girls with a 17th place finish (17:30). Shelby Matlock came in 26th (18:14), Reagan Kaiser 27th (18:17) and Jenne Luebbers 28th (18:28).

The Dodge City boys and Garden City girls won the meet.
