TOPEKA – Governor Sam Brownback was on hand Wednesday to honor several employees from the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS) and other agencies who were selected Employee(s) of the 4th Quarter, 2013, for recognition of dedicated service and outstanding accomplishments as part of the State of Kansas’ employee awards and recognition program.

The KDADS award recipients for the quarter are:
- Patricia Hughes, KDADS Central Office
- Norman Dreiling, Larned State Hospital
- Natasha Klutts, Osawatomie State Hospital
- Joe Linter, Kansas Neurological Institute
- Linda Brown, Parsons State Hospital and Training Center
KDADS oversees Osawatomie State Hospital, Larned State Hospital, the Kansas Neurological Institute and the Parsons State Hospital and Training Center.
“These are employees who went the extra mile to do extraordinary work for the agency and those we serve,” said KDADS Secretary Shawn Sullivan in a news release. “I am extremely proud of these individuals – and all of our staff – for their dedication and the work they do day in and day out to improve the lives of older Kansans, those with behavioral problems and the disabled.”
Governor Brownback hosted a reception in their honor last week in Topeka.
