The Hays USD 489 Board of Education will meet in regular session at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Rockwell Administration Center.

Agenda items include:

• A presentation from David Levering and Reese Barrick of Sternberg Museum of Natural History and USD 489’s Lee Keffer on a potential partnership regarding next-generation science standards.

• A presentation from Nancy Harman, Denise Danielson and Gina Johnson on their recent trip the the National Title I Conference, where the group collected an award for O’Loughlin Elementary School.

• Appointments to the district’s technology committee.

• Proposed acceptance of an Internet and building connectivity proposal from Eagle Communications.

• Extension of principal and certified director contracts for the 2014-15 school year.
