Despite moisture in the forecast, wind dominated the weather on Tuesday. Peak wind gusts of 60 mph were reported in Garden City and Dodge City.

Gusts over 50 mph were reported in Salina, Ellsworth, Eldorado, Hutchinson and Wichita. Smith Center reported a gust of 49 mph.  No damage was reported. Click on the NWS wind gust map for a closer look.
