Hays financial adviser Jeff Seibel is in Washington this week to meet with representatives “on behalf of individual investors” in Kansas.
According to a press release from Edward D. Jones, Seibel is one of 50 financial advisers from across the United States meeting with legislators from their home state.
Seibel will talk with lawmakers about the importance of preserving “tax incentives for retirement savings, deductions for contributions to IRAs and 401(k)s and exploring ways to incentivize future generations to achieve retirement security and independence.”
Seibel said he will meet with the four state representatives Wednesday. He then has meetings with the state’s two senators Thursday morning.
