EUREKA — A woman was injured in a Monday morning accident with a semi-truck in Greenwood County. Her infant son was unharmed.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2012 Chevy Traverse driven by Michelle Amy Lewis, 33 Sedan was eastbound on U400.

The vehicle crossed the centerline traveling into the #1 lane for westbound traffic to pass a vehicle. For unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed into the #2 westbound lane and hit the trailer of a westbound semi-truck driven by Jason J. Barton, 40, Wichita.

Lewis was transported to Greenwood County Hospital.

The KHP reported her 7-day-old infant son was placed properly in an infant seat, positioned in the right back seat and not injured.

Barton was also not injured.
